
IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM
Vaccines (immunizations) are one of the most effective ways to prevent illness. By staying up to date on vaccinations, you can help protect yourself, your family, and your community from a wide array of potentially serious illnesses.
Our immunization program protects and promotes the health of all people in Kitsap County by providing up-to-date vaccine information to the public, supporting providers with training, education, and resources, and responding to vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks.
KITSAP PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICT VACCINATION CLINICS
Kitsap Public Health District is currently offering the following vaccinations:
- COVID-19 vaccination and boosters for ages 5 and older
- JYNNEOS (monkeypox) vaccination for eligible adults

COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for everyone ages 6 months and older. The FDA and CDC released updated and simplified vaccination guidance in 2023. See our vaccine calendar or go to vaccinatewa.gov to find an appointment.

NO-COST IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN
The Vaccine for Children Program provides vaccines to children under the age of 19 at no cost to you. Some providers may charge a fee to administer the vaccine to your child, but most insurance plans cover this fee. If your insurance does not cover the fee and you are unable to pay it, by law you cannot be billed for these fees, and they will never go to collections.

IMMUNIZATION RECORDS
There are several ways to check your family's immunization records:
- Contact your regular healthcare provider.
- Use the state’s MyIR portal to access records online.
- Visit a local pharmacy or clinic.
- Contact Kitsap Public Health District:
- Kitsap Public Health can provide records for immunizations that have been entered into the Washington state immunization database. We are not currently replacing COVID-19 vaccine cards.
- Stop by our office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 345 6th Street, Suite 300, in Bremerton.
