COMPETITIVE PAY
Our total compensation package includes not only wages or salaries, but a comprehensive set of benefits. Pay is based on the local public health job market and the responsibilities, skills and experience required for each position. Our pay scales (union, non-union) offer step increases based on years of service. In addition, salary surveys are conducted periodically to calculate any needed increases. Such increases are subject to union negotiations and approval by the Kitsap Public Health Board.
