COVID-19 Outbreak Response
The Kitsap Public Health District, with support from the state Department of Health, is working with St. Michael Medical Center in Bremerton to control an outbreak of COVID-19 identified at the hospital in August. Updates and resources related to the outbreak response will be posted to this page.
Outbreak Response Updates
- Nov. 10: Kitsap Public Health is working with St. Michael Medical Center in Bremerton to respond to COVID-19 cases identified among patients and staff at the hospital. See the St. Michael website for additional information.
- Sept. 23: KITSAP COUNTY, WA — No new cases of COVID-19 associated with an outbreak at St. Michael Medical Center in Bremerton have been identified since August, the Kitsap Public Health District reported Wednesday, Sept. 23. However, Kitsap Public Health is responding to a small number of COVID-19 cases identified among CHI Franciscan employees in Kitsap, including some who worked at St. Michael.
