Established in 1947, the Kitsap Public Health District is an independent local government agency serving all of Kitsap County, Washington, and its cities.
As your local public health agency, we work to prevent disease and injuries, promote health and wellbeing, and create safe and supportive environments where everyone can thrive.
The Health District is organized into four divisions: Administrative Services, Community Health, Environmental Health, and Public Health Infrastructure. Programs within these divisions provide vital public health services for our community.
