You are invited to a free opioid overdose awareness and response training on March 19

Kitsap Public Health will host a training at the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton on Tuesday, March 19 from 6-7 p.m.


 


Kitsap Public Health District will offer an opioid overdose awareness and response training from 6-7 p.m. on March 19 at the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th Street, Bremerton.


Topics will include overdose risk factors, signs of an overdose, how to respond to an overdose, and common myths and misunderstandings about fentanyl.


The training will cover how to administer naloxone (Narcan), an easy-to-use medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. Naloxone will be provided to attendees as supplies allow.
