North Kitsap Recovery Resource Center and Kitsap Public Health will host a free training at Poulsbo City Hall on Feb. 1 from 6-7 p.m.
The North Kitsap Recovery Resource Center and Kitsap Public Health District will offer an opioid overdose awareness training from 6-7 p.m., Feb. 1 at Poulsbo City Hall (200 Moe St NE, Poulsbo).
Registration is encouraged but not required. Click here to RSVP.
Topics will include overdose risk factors, signs of an overdose, how to respond to an overdose, and common myths and misunderstandings about fentanyl.
The training will cover how to give naloxone (Narcan), an easy-to-use medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. Naloxone will be provided to attendees as supplies allow.
