Water pollution Identification & correction

Elements in your daily surroundings can affect your health and well-being in big ways. Our goal is to improve people’s health by preventing pollution, reducing exposure to environmental hazards, and practicing safe sanitation.

We strive to accomplish this goal by:

  • Identifying and correcting sources of pollution or disease

  • Responding to unhealthy or unsafe conditions and advising the community about them

  • Developing and enforcing water, food safety, sewage, and garbage public health rules.

Our environmental health specialists are professionals with education, training, and experience in the sciences including chemistry, physics, biology, microbiology, and environmental health.
