Injuries can happen to anyone at any age. By focusing on injury prevention, we can help children have a healthy start to life and keep adults active and independent throughout their lifespan.

Injuries and violence are a leading cause of death in Kitsap County and nationally. Accidents, including poisoning, falls, and vehicle collisions, were the fourth leading cause of death in Kitsap in 2021. Injuries that don't cause death can cause long-term trauma and disability.
